Ludium Lab, ACCESS Europe And XPENG Launch In-Car Cloud Gaming

In an exciting collaboration, ACCESS Europe GmbH, Ludium Lab, and XPENG have joined forces to bring cloud gaming to in-car displays in a groundbreaking project. Leveraging ACCESS’s in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) technology and Ludium Lab’s cloud gaming platform, XPENG customers can now indulge in cutting-edge cloud gaming experiences.

The partnership introduces SoraStream, rebranded as XPLAY by Ludium Lab, and seamlessly integrated into XPENG vehicles through ACCESS TwineTM for Car (Twine4Car) app store platform. XPLAY offers users a diverse catalog of PC, mobile, and console games, including AAA titles and Ludium Lab exclusives.

Brian Gu, Vice Chairman and President of XPENG, emphasized the significance of in-car entertainment in the car-buying decision and highlighted how XPLAY enhances the overall driving experience. He expressed gratitude for the collaboration with ACCESS Europe and Ludium Lab, ensuring engaging journeys in XPENG vehicles with high-quality cloud gaming on extra-wide infotainment screens.

A standout feature of XPLAY is its impressive gaming performance, boasting 60 FPS Full HD games playable on XPENG infotainment screens. The service eliminates the need for game downloads, incorporates parental controls, and operates on a convenient monthly subscription model.

ACCESS Europe CEO Aono Masahiro highlighted the Twine4Car Platform as a content aggregation hub, combining cutting-edge IVI technology and premium content in a fully OEM-branded interface. The incorporation of Sora Stream from Ludium Lab enhances the mobility experience for XPENG car users.
